The health and safety of the attendees and exhibitors at the 2022 Pacific Northwest Ground Water Exposition are top priority of the Pacific Northwest Ground Water Association. As such, the conference management team maintains frequent communication with the venue to make the best decisions for the in-person event. As of January 4, 2022, the following is information as provided to us by the Holiday Inn Portland-Columbia Riverfront.
There is currently a mask mandate for indoors only. When a guest is eating or drinking in the restaurant or meeting space, they may remove their mask at that time.
The hotel does follow guidance directed by our [Oregon’s] Governor’s Office and the Oregon Health Authority that is required of our business to operate, including the COVID-19 meeting and event guidelines agreement, which states “The hotel shall follow all COVID-19 phased reopening guidelines in place at the time of the group event for indoor meetings, classified under Gatherings, Indoor Social Get-Togethers by the State of Oregon and the Oregon Health Authority, and will remain in compliance with all requirements as mandated by local authorities for Multnomah County Oregon.”
